Associate Director & Senior Fellow at TERI, leading the Microbial Biofuels & Biochemicals Group. She coordinates the Tata Chemicals Ltd–TERI Centre of Excellence on Biochemicals, focusing on microbial production of biofuels (biohydrogen, biomethane, bioethanol, biojet fuel, etc.) and green biochemicals (lactic acid, 2,3-BDO, lipase, carotenoids, etc.) from various feedstocks. With over 68 high-impact international publications, 4 patents, and multiple book chapters, her work has earned over 2,190 citations (h-index: 26). She serves as editor for books and journals and has spoken at more than 100 global conferences. Prior to joining TERI, she worked in algal biotechnology at KMUTT and NSTDA in Thailand. She holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Delhi and a postdoc in Algal Biotechnology. Dr. Subudhi is a task force expert for DBT, RD20 (G20), and IFGE, and has represented India at international forums on bioeconomy and circular sustainability.

Vinod Raghavan is the Head of Business Operations at netZERO Services Pvt. With over 25 years of cross-functional leadership in sales, marketing, consulting, and operations, Vinod has successfully driven sustainable growth across sectors like circular economy, ICT, SaaS, AI/ML, and IoT. His career spans renowned organizations including Tata, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, UTC, and Reckitt. An MBA graduate from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Vinod is passionate about integrating sustainability, innovation, and digital transformation to enable business resilience. His expertise lies in climate strategy, sustainability consulting, ecosystem partnerships, and impact-led business transformation across global markets. Vinod is an advocate for sustainable technology and circular economy models and actively collaborates with industry to build a regenerative and low-carbon future.

A Mechanical Engineer, I have over 33 years of comprehensive experience in Thermal and Water Industry in BOOT, DBO & EPC segments covering the entire cycle from Business Development to Project Management and Operation & Maintenance. At Jakson Green, as head of Desalination business, I am building a business of futuristic desalination for various Industries using Renewable Energy and Waste heat along with Desolenator, a Technology start up from the Netherlands. Prior to this, at Tecton Engineering, my role as Chief Operating Officer for India encompassed driving operational excellence and strategic growth of the company in the Indian water market. Key projects directed include building of a 150 MLD desalination plant for the city of Chennai, a desilting plant for the Numaligarh refinery in Assam. The earlier stint at VATech Wabag saw me spearheading project sales, managing process designs & proposal engineering and directing execution of projects across Water, Wastewater and RO & Thermal Desalination segments. I built the international business for the company across South, South-East and Middle East Asia opening offices, building and nurturing international partnerships, setting up offices and project sites and overseeing execution of large value projects.

Atul is a seasoned industry professional with more than two decades of experience spanning the Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, and New & Green Energy sectors. An MBA in Oil & Gas Management, Atul is a qualified electrical engineer, further enhancing his expertise with post-graduate diplomas in Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management, and Energy Management. Atul has completed a senior leadership program on “Strategies for Growth” at IIM Ahmedabad and is currently pursuing his PhD in Management. As an active member of prominent institutions such as CII, FICCI, FIPI, IFGE, IBA and WBA, Atul has participated in industry interfaces for the Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA) and the Energy Transition Forum under G20. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at IndianOil Adani Ventures, Atul leads IAVL’s strategic business development, renewable energy initiatives, enterprise risk management, CSR and information technology, while also cultivating strategic partnerships for the Group. Additionally, he serves on the boards of IAVL’s affiliated entities. Atul is passionate about adding value to the Indian industry and economy by promoting ESG, practices & strategic growth planning incorporating new and green energy solutions.

Dr. Soma Mishra is an environmentalist and Assistant Professor at MIT-World Peace University, Pune, with over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has received the prestigious DAAD fellowship, working as a Visiting Scientist in Dresden, Germany. Her research expertise includes solid waste management, vermicomposting, detection of emerging contaminants, wastewater reuse, microplastics, and low-cost water treatment for rural communities. She has worked on European Commission-funded projects related to riverbank filtration and previously served in academic and consulting roles across India. Beyond academia, Dr. Mishra advises NGOs such as ECA and Jeevitnadi, contributes to Pune’s Carbon Neutrality Cell, and actively supports rural water access and women’s entrepreneurship. She is also a reviewer for Science of the Total Environment. Her work bridges sustainable environmental practices with community development and public health.
